A man is facing charges after police say he killed his mother at their Deer Park home.
Police say Tyler Strauch, 26, fatally shot Deborah Strauch, 64, inside their home on Deer Park Avenue on Friday just before 9:30 p.m.
Deborah Strauch was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tyler Strauch is charged with second-degree murder.
He is due back in court on July 19.
