A man accused in a monthlong string of burglaries in Nassau County was arrested Wednesday night. 

Police say Stephan Tirado, 27, of Freeport, hit nearly a dozen businesses in Hicksville, Westbury, East Garden City and Carle Place in the past month.

Authorities say Tirado was even caught on surveillance video at Nelly’s Taqueria on West Old Country Road in Hicksville making himself food.

Tirado was arrested in Hempstead and faces charges of burglary and attempted burglary.
