Police say an Oceanside man has been arrested and charged with robbing the same bank twice.
Police say 34-year-old Melvin Olivo held up the TD Bank on Long Beach Road in Oceanside on Feb. 19 and then again last Saturday.
Officials say the bank is located across the street from his home.
In both robberies, police say Olivo passed the teller a note and demanded cash. He then left with undisclosed amounts of money.
No one was hurt during the robberies, but police say there were eight employees and one customer inside the bank at the time of the first robbery.
Police are not releasing a motive for the robbery, but in court on Tuesday prosecutors told the judge that the suspect has 13 prior arrests, including some for felony assault and robbery.
His bail was set at $10,000.
