A mail carrier was robbed on the job Friday afternoon in North Babylon.
Police say a man walked up to the U.S. Postal Service employee on Hughes Lane, gesturing like he had a gun.
He demanded the worker hand over what's called an "arrow key" which opens all mailboxes outside post offices in the North Babylon area.
According to police, the man took off in a blue sedan with the key.
Police had made no arrests as of Saturday evening.
