Police say they received calls early Monday morning from people saying they heard explosions in Lake Grove and Ronkonkoma.
Authorities say they were told the mysterious 'boom' sound was heard on Hudson Avenue in Lake Grove and Midland Boulevard in Ronkonkoma.
The calls started coming in just after midnight.
Police say officers went to the area, but found nothing out of the ordinary.
