Nassau police identified the two women killed in the stabbings in Island Park and Valley Stream.
Police say the two female victims are 42-year-old Ana Maria Del Aguila Cordova, of Long Beach, and 32-year-old Eddy Raquel Hernandez Castillo, of Valley Stream.
Authorities say 22-year-old Rony Yahir Alvarenga Rivera allegedly stabbed the two women to death on May 1.
