Police have identified the victims in a small plane crash as a Connecticut race car driver and his long-time girlfriend.
Police identified the victims as pilot David Berube, 66, Dana Parenteau, 49, and Benjamin Bridges, 32. All were from Bristol, Connecticut.
Reports say the trio was coming home from Berube's son's wedding in Myrtle Beach when the crash happened. Parenteau had two daughters. Bridges was an employee of Berube.
Investigators say there is no evidence of a mid-air explosion.
The NTSB is still trying to figure out why the small plane broke apart, raining debris over Syosset.
