Police are asking for help finding a gunman who shot and killed a man in Roosevelt.
Detectives say 46-year-old Allen Simpkins Jr. was found just before 4 a.m. Saturday.
They say he was laying on the ground in front of a home on John Street with an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
