Police: Human remains found in Uniondale
It happened at around 2:15 p.m. when officers received a 911 call for possible human remains in the wooded area located in the back of 700 Dibble Drive, which is the site of a Lowe’s store.

It happened at around 2:15 p.m. when officers received a 911 call for possible human remains in the wooded area located in the back of 700 Dibble Drive, which is the site of a Lowe’s store.
Upon arrival, law enforcement noticed an abandoned encampment and discovered human remains.
The Homicide Squad and medical examiner responded to the scene. The body was removed from the scene and brought to the medical examiner’s office for further examination.
