Police: Greenport man arrested for DWI crash with 3 children in car

A Greenport man accused of driving drunk Monday and crashing his car with three children inside is facing multiple charges, police say.
Officers say they responded to a report of a white Honda Civic leaving the scene of an accident near Old Country Road in Riverhead at around 8 p.m.
They located 22-year-old Juan Arevalo-Lopez nearby and determined that he was intoxicated.
Police say his 1-year-old daughter, a 9-year-old boy and a 10-year-old boy were also in the vehicle.
Arevalo-Lopez was arrested and is set to face a judge on Tuesday morning, according to authorities.
