4ds agoA Freeport man was arrested for a fatal hit-and-run that happened in North Lawrence.
Police say 35-year-old Melvin Deleon struck 34-year-old Esmeralda Larios-Perez, of Inwood, on Dec. 12, 2023.
They say Deleon failed to stop and continued driving.
Larios-Perez was pronounced dead at the scene.
