A Flanders man has been arrested and is accused of robbing a woman in Riverhead.

News 12 has been told Erick Contreras Guevara, 22, walked up to a 79-year-old woman in the Shoprite parking lot on Old Country Road and grabbed her purse.

Guevara allegedly ran to a store nearby.

Officers were able to find him and arrest him.
