An Elmont man is accused of pointing a gun at police early Friday, officers say.
Officials say police responded to a disturbance call on Hempstead Turnpike around 5:30 a.m.
Police say Jose Rodriguez pointed a shotgun at them from the window of a second-floor apartment.
Officers say they warned the man multiple times before they used a Taser and arrested him.
