A suspect is wanted for striking a pedestrian and fleeing the scene Friday in North Bellmore, according to Nassau police.

Authorities say a 47-year-old man was standing on the south side of Jerusalem Avenue when he was hit by a black SUV or pickup truck.

He sustained multiple cuts and broke his pelvis.

Anyone with information is urged to call police.
