Police say no arrests have been made after a car crashed into a pole, burst into flames and the driver ran from the scene.

The incident happened around 4 a.m. on Indian Head Road in Kings Park.

Police say the driver fled the scene, but a passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

There is no word on what caused the driver to lose control.
