Suffolk police are investigating a four-car crash that seriously injured a Brentwood man in Commack Saturday afternoon.
Police say Maria Kopping was driving westbound on Veterans Memorial Highway when she attempted to make a right turn onto Jericho Turnpike. They say that's when she hit 25-year-old Freddy Roth of Brentwood, who was traveling eastbound.
His car flipped on its side and slid into the rear of another vehicle, which then hit another car.
Roth was airlifted to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.
