The owner of a Bay Shore bar and grill was arrested early Saturday morning after drugs were found during a State Liquor Authority inspection, according to police.
Authorities say the discovery was made just before 12:30 a.m. at Copas Bar on Bay Shore Road.
The business is accused of violating multiple State Liquor Authority guidelines.
Owner Carlos Ruiz-Perez was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Two men were also issued citations for working as unlicensed security guards.
Police say the business was shut down by the fire marshal.
