Nassau police are waiting for DNA results to identify a body found in Roosevelt.

The sister of a missing teen believes the body is her brother.

According to police, 17-year-old Joshua Aguilar vanished in September of 2016.

According to a friend of the family, Aguilar's sister was told by police that it was her brother whose body was found Wednesday buried in the Roosevelt Preserve.

Aguilar's sister says Joshua disappeared after he went to meet someone after getting a phone call.

Police say the victim had been killed by MS-13 gang members.
