Suffolk police arrested an Army recruiter after they say officers found child pornography while executing a search warrant at his Patchogue apartment Friday morning.
Terrence Cole, 46, pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of possessing a sexual performance of a child. A judge ordered him held on $150,000 cash or $300,000 bond.
The FBI was also involved in the investigation.
Authorities say Cole works as a recruiter for the U.S. Army. The Army did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Cole's arrest.
No one answered the door at Cole's residence Friday evening. His attorney, Robert Curran, declined to comment on the case.
