Police: Armed man ran away from Baldwin traffic stop, faces several charges

According to police, when officers pulled over 27-year-old Ryan Horton, they noticed a gun in his waistband.

A man was arrested after police said he was armed while fleeing officers at a traffic stop in Baldwin.
According to police, 27-year-old Ryan Horton ran a red light on Grand Avenue around 1 a.m. When an officer pulled him over, they noticed a gun in his waistband.
Authorities said they tried to put Horton in handcuffs to "safely remove the gun." That's when they say Horton became aggressive and ran off.
He was arrested shortly after.
Horton is facing multiple charges related to the weapon, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
