Police say an altercation in East Hampton Saturday night left one man dead.

They say they were called to a home on Lincoln Avenue around 10:40 p.m. about an altercation between two men.

Police identified the victim as 45-year-old Kevin Somers - who was taken to the hospital after the fight and was pronounced dead.

They say a resident of the home, identified as Marc Dern, was not hurt and is not facing charges.
