Police: 66-year-old Selden man subjected 3 children to ongoing sexual abuse from 1997-2002
A Selden man is accused of sexually abusing three children over two decades ago.
Police say Robert Lynch, 66, subjected the children to ongoing sexual abuse at his home from 1997 to 2020.
Lynch was 40 at the time the crimes allegedly started at a home in Selden.
At the time, the victims were between the ages of seven and 13.
Suffolk District Attorney Ray Tierney says the three victims came forward about the crimes.
Tierney says he thinks there could be many more victims out there.
Lynch was charged with sexual abuse and multiple counts of course of sexual conduct against a child.
He will return to court next month.
