Police: 6 teenagers arrested for assault and robbery at Hicksville mall

Officers say they arrived around 6 p.m. to the Hicksville Carnival at Broadway Commons to break up a large group of teens causing a disturbance.

Police say two teenagers were injured and six others were arrested Friday at the Hicksville mall.
Officers say they arrived around 6 p.m. to the Hicksville Carnival at Broadway Commons to break up a large group of teens causing a disturbance.
While breaking up the crowd, two 15-year-olds told officers some of those teens hit them in the head and face and stole their cellphone 
Officers say they spotted the group of teens, who attempted to run away. Police were able to catch up with them.
Authorities arrested six teens. 
Three 16-year-old boys, two 16-year-old girls and a 12-year-old girl are each charged with assault and robbery. They will face a judge in family court.
