Police say a 4-year-old girl was seriously hurt in a North Amityville crash.

In video obtained by News 12, a smashed vehicle can be seen at Broadway and East Smith Street.

Police say David Hernandez-Martinez, of Amityville, was driving south on Broadway with his sister and her daughter in a Prius.

The vehicle was stopped at a red light when it was rear-ended by a 2009 Infiniti.

The 4-year-old was taken to Good Samaritan hospital for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Everyone else was taken to the same hospital for minor injuries.
