Police say four people have been arrested after they
forced a man into their car and stole his cellphone and wallet in
Baldwin.
Detectives tell News 12 the 24-year-old victim was
standing in front of a home on School Drive when he was approached by four
people that he knew and they forced him into the car and drove off.
News 12 has been told the subjects took the victims’ cellphone and wallet
at knifepoint, then dropped the victim off in Freeport and sped away.
The victim had minor injuries.
Officers were able to find the subjects and place them
under arrest.
They are all facing multiple charges including robbery and
kidnapping.
They will
be arraigned later today.
