6h agoA New Jersey man is one of three people arrested for stealing a vehicle from Lake Success, police say.
Detectives say Jabir Robinson, 18, worked with a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old to steal a Land Rover from a garage. The trio was caught hours later.
Police say the vehicle was tracked crossing the Verrazano Bridge and was heading to Staten Island. They say that's when NYPD Highway Patrol officers pulled over the vehicle and placed the three suspects under arrest.
Robinson and the two teens are now charged with burglary and grand larceny. Robinson is also facing additional charges.
