Police: Man killed in Uniondale crash; 2 others hospitalized

The victim was driving a Hyundai with a male and female passenger heading eastbound on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard around 2 p.m. His vehicle collided with a Honda Accord being driven by a 31-year-old man.

A 35-year-old man was killed Monday following a crash in Uniondale, police say.
The victim was driving a Hyundai with a male and female passenger heading eastbound on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard around 2 p.m. His vehicle collided with a Honda Accord being driven by a 31-year-old man.
The Hyundai struck a tree following the collision.
The driver of the Hyundai was pronounced dead at the scene by the Uniondale Fire Department. His two passengers were transported to a hospital and are listed in stable condition.
The driver of the Honda Accord and his female passenger remained at the scene and refused medical attention.
