Three people were arrested following a chaotic scene Sunday outside a Target in Westbury, police say.
Video obtained by News 12 shows a car plowing into another vehicle, hitting a second car and then speeding off and smashing into a third car in the parking lot around 8 p.m.
Police say 24-year-olds Quamik Stephenson and Ronald Jiles-Ais took car seats from inside the Target store. Detectives say they then went back into the store to return them for cash.
Police say an employee refused to give the Stephenson and Jiles-Ais money and that the two then walked out with the stolen seats and put them in a black Tesla.
Store security then called 911.
Malique Wilson was the driver of the car that the stolen car seats were in, police say. When the three men, who are from Brooklyn, were met by officers in the parking lot, police say Wilson fled.
They say Wilson got back into the car while an officer was attempting to place him under arrested. He started driving, hitting the other cars to get away while the officer was dangling out of the passenger side of the car.
Stephenson also got out of the car and attempted to run from the police.
All three suspects are facing a slew of charges. Wilson is also facing assault charges.
