Nassau police say a Freeport man was found shot to death in Roosevelt early Sunday morning.
Police say they were alerted to the scene by the Shot Spotter gunshot detection system. They arrived at 86 Park Ave. and located a man's body in an alley way.
The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Sayvon Marcus Burt. Police say Burt had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
