Police: 2 people shot in Copiague, no arrests made

According to police, two groups of people were involved in a dispute in front of a residence on Remsen Street at approximately 10 p.m.

Police are searching for a shooter after they say two people were shot in Copiague Sunday.

According to police, two groups of people were involved in a dispute in front of a residence on Remsen Street at approximately 10 p.m.

Shots were fired striking a 21-year-old female and a 20-year-old male.

The shooter fled the scene on foot.

The victims were transported to a local hospital in stable condition for treatment of nonlife-threatening injuries.
