Police say two people were hurt in a four-vehicle crash in North Patchogue.
Police tell News 12 that Jeffrey Edsall was driving a stolen Ford Explorer on North Ocean Avenue around 7 p.m. Thursday when he crashed into the back of a Chevy turning left.
The impact caused the Ford to spin into another lane, where it was hit by a Nissan. The Ford overturned and Edsall was ejected from the car.
The Nissan then collided with a Volkswagen.
Edsall and a front passenger in the Nissan were taken to the hospital for serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The other occupants in the Nissan and Chevy suffered minor injuries and are expected to be OK. Those in the Volkswagen were not hurt.
Edsall was charged with criminal possession of stolen property for the Ford. Police say the Ford was stolen from Randy's Auto Repair in North Patchogue earlier that day.
