Police: 2 officers, civilian injured in Babylon crash

The two officers in the police vehicle and the driver of the other vehicle were transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital for treatment of injuries not considered to be life-threatening.

Two police officers and a civilian were injured in a crash in Babylon Thursday afternoon, officials say.
It happened at around 1:55 p.m. when a police vehicle was responding to a 911 call. Officials say the officers were traveling on Cadman Avenue when their cruiser struck another vehicle at the intersection of Park Avenue. The police vehicle then struck a tree.
The two officers in the police vehicle and the driver of the other vehicle were transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital for treatment of injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
A female passenger from the civilian vehicle was not injured.
