Two police officers and a civilian were injured in a crash in Babylon Thursday afternoon, officials say.
It happened at around 1:55 p.m. when a police vehicle was responding to a 911 call. Officials say the officers were traveling on Cadman Avenue when their cruiser struck another vehicle at the intersection of Park Avenue. The police vehicle then struck a tree.
The two officers in the police vehicle and the driver of the other vehicle were transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital for treatment of injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
A female passenger from the civilian vehicle was not injured.
