Police are searching for suspects after two homes in Suffolk County were hit by gunfire.
The incident happened on Doane Avenue in North Bellport around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say after bullets hit the houses, a Toyota rental car crashed several blocks away and the people inside took off on foot.
No injuries were reported from the gunfire.
