Two brothers were fatally shot in Mastic Beach, Suffolk police say.

Police were called to a residence on Huntington Drive at 12:25 p.m. and found Blake Chambers, 28, and Codi Chambers, 22.

Suffolk Detective Lt. Kevin Beyrer says one of them had been shot within the house. The other person had been shot and driven away, but was driven back to the house.

Both brothers were rushed to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center, where they died.

There is no word yet on a motive for the shootings.

Some neighbors say that the brothers' house was known for drug activity.

News 12 has learned that both men had extensive criminal records. According to court documents, Blake Chambers was due in court later this month for a drug charge, and Codi Chambers was due in court next month, also on drug charges.
