Police say a 16-year-old boy was arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a man in Westbury last month.

The teenager, from Hempstead, has not been identified because of his age. Police say he shot 27-year-old Alexis Gonzalez-Sanchez, of Melville.

Gonzalez-Sanchez was found with a gunshot wound in a parking lot on Union Avenue.

He was later pronounced dead at a hospital. Detectives say there was a house party going on nearby.

The suspect will be arraigned at a later date in youth court.
