Police: 1 person dead, another seriously injured in Plainview crash

According to police, a 44-year-old man was operating a 2022 GMC making a left turn out of the parking lot on Manetto Hill Road when he was struck.

Police say one person has died following an accident in Plainview at 11:34 a.m. Sunday.

According to police, a 44-year-old man was operating a 2022 GMC making a left turn out of the parking lot on Manetto Hill Road when he was struck by a 2021 Jeep.

The Jeep was operated by a 24-year-old male traveling southbound on Manetto Hill Road.

Both operators were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Police say the 44-year-old man was pronounced dead by hospital staff.

The 24-year-old is listed in serious condition.
