Police say a man has been arrested for the death of another man in East Hampton.

According to police, Marc Dern is accused of killing Kevin Somers in East Hampton on Feb. 5.

Police say officers responded to a home on Lincoln Avenue following a 911 call regarding an altercation between the two men.

Somers, 45, of Amagansett, was transported to Southampton Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives charged Dern, 34, of East Hampton, with manslaughter in the first degree.
