Dan Damianos was instrumental in the success of Long Island's wine industry as the owner of Pindar Vineyards on the North Fork. https://www.pindar.net/
Now, Damianos' son Alex manages the sprawling 250-acre property that produces 50,000 cases of wine per year.
He says he's seen customers who used to come to his winery with their parents now bringing their own children to the vineyards.
"As the oldest family-run winery on Long Island, we want to keep it in the family for generations," Damianos said.
