One person is critically injured after a crash in Smithtown early Thursday morning.
Two vehicles collided at Veterans Memorial Highway and North Drive just after 6 a.m., according to the Smithtown Fire Department.
They say fire officials had to use the jaws of life to remove the driver's side door and remove one person who was trapped inside a vehicle.
Officials say multiple people were injured.
The intersection was partially shut down following the collision.
