Peppercorn's Restaurant said goodbye to the Hicksville community Thursday evening after 41 years in business.
The owners of the business made the decision to close because they say business did not bounce back as expected following the pandemic.
Every table in the restaurant was booked on Wednesday night, and those who came out were emotional about its closure.
"It's been our place for a very, very, very long time and it's going to be very missed by everyone," says Stacy Kennedy, of Levittown.
The restaurant is going out with a bang - having live music throughout the night and a buffet.
