Pedestrian struck, critically injured in Freeport
Detectives say a 66-year-old man was traveling west on Sunrise Highway near South Main Street around 8 p.m. when he hit a pedestrian.

condition after being hit by a car in Freeport.
Detectives say a 66-year-old
man was traveling west on Sunrise Highway near South Main Street around 8 p.m.
when he hit a pedestrian.
The unidentified 49-year-old
man suffered multiple injuries and was rushed to a hospital.
The man is now in critical
condition.
The driver remained at the
scene and was not injured.
So far no charges have been
filed.
