The victim was hit near Moriches Road around 10:15 p.m., Suffolk police say.
That's right in the area of Smith Haven Mall.
The 19-year-old driver of the vehicle that hit her was not hurt.
The pedestrian, who has yet to be identified by police, was pronounced dead at the scene.
