A pedestrian was fatally struck by an SUV Thursday afternoon on the Robert Moses Causeway.

State police say it happened around 1:33 p.m. on the southbound lanes near Exit RM2.

Authorities have yet to release the identity of the victim or confirm if there was any criminality involved.
