LEFKADA
Momma Lefkada had her kittens and now our focus is on finding her the perfect, tranquil home. This 3 ½ -year-old tabby needs to be the only pet in the household, would do best with an adopter who has experience guiding a shy feline. With patience and time for Lefkada to feel safe and gain trust, a quiet home (with older children) will help ease her into being a family pet. Before long she’ll be belly up and purring for you like she does her Animal League America friends (she’s a staff favorite who lives in the Feline Behaviorist’s office.) Treats and feather wands are some of Lefkada’s favorite things.
ZUKE
You’re going to have zoodles of fun with Zuke! This outstanding 2 ½-year-old, male tuxedo rescued from North Carolina loves to play (and loves treats even more.) He may not love a lot of ear rubs, but a little experience, understanding, and consistency is the key to him happily integrating in his first real home. Zuke prefers to be the only pet in a home with cat-experienced adults (and older children.) He’s spirited and playful, and ready for a family who can keep up with his zest for life.
SCRAPPY
10-month-old Scrappy is a Terrier/Hound from Louisiana. This bundle of energy loves to run and play in our dog park and is looking for an active owner ready to work with him on his commands and plan plenty of adventures. Because of his high-energy level and a tendency to be shy in new settings, he’d do best in a home with older children and with adopters who have previous dog experience. Scrappy does not want any feline siblings but if you have another dog at home, the North Shore Animal League America team would love for you to bring that dog to campus, and they’ll set up a meet & greet with Scrappy.
CINNAMON
Spicy Cinnamon is a 14-month-old Vizsla/Terrier mix rescued from Louisiana. She’s awaiting a loving forever home where she’ll reside as Cajun queen of her castle as your only pet. Adopters with previous dog experience will be the best fit for this playful, energetic girl. Once she gets to know you, she’s a lovebug.
