In this week's Paws & Pals, the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter presented three dogs looking for their 'furever' homes.
Wally is a 3-year-old Terrier mix who’s been at the shelter for a year and a half. He went in as a stray with old wounds and scarring. He is a little nervous with new people, so he is looking for an adult-only home with dog experience that will cuddle him and continue with his training.
Pinto is a handsome 4-year-old. He is one of the shelter’s longest residents. He was found as a stray over three years ago. Pinto loves to play, but is a nervous, insecure dog. His ideal home is with a savvy owner who has experience with guarding, and can continue his training. He’s is great at his commands.
Beauty is about 3.5 years old. She came to the shelter as a stray two years ago. Beauty is very nervous at the shelter, but she does love to see her buddies and is happy and calm with the people she knows. She loves playing with her toys, and would love a quiet adult-only home with a fenced in yard where she is the only pet.
