Paw it Forward is a group that was started to help pet pantries in need during hurricanes.
Danielle Scala-Nathan, of Valley Stream, says help goes to pet owners in need of food, medications, carriers and toys.
"If we have it, we give it," says Scala-Nathan.
Scala-Nathan says the help doesn't just go to cats and dogs. It's to help all pets stay with their owners.
"We are touching, lending a paw to those in need," says Scala-Nathan.
