Patchogue-Medford High School will be closed Monday out of an abundance of caution due to a potential threat to the school.
Students will be taught remotely.
School Superintendent Dr. Donna Jones said Sunday night that Suffolk County police were notified and an investigation is underway.
Police and school security will conduct a thorough sweep of the high school.
