The Town of Oyster Bay issued an appearance ticket to Larry Wallach after officials say he was found with two sloths and a kangaroo inside his vehicle outside Karmic Grind on Birch Hill Road in Locust Valley on Wednesday.

According to town officials, the animals were discovered in Wallach’s car in violation of the Oyster Bay dangerous animals ordinance, which regulates the possession and transportation of certain exotic species within town limits.

News 12 reached out to Wallach for comment but has not yet received a response.

Town officials say Wallach is expected to appear in court at a later date.
