The owner of a toxic dump site in Central Islip says he is promising to clean it up.
The site is located on Sage Street and is one of four sites linked to Thomas Datre Jr., the man who pleaded guilty for toxic dumping at Roberto Clemente Park in Brentwood.
News 12 first showed the toxic site covered in asbestos, heavy metals and pesticides in 2015.
According to Newsday, Datre's lawyer promises it will be "broom clean" in a week.
The deadline to clean it was June 2016.
Datre Jr. is currently serving a one-year prison sentence.
