The westbound Long Island Expressway will be closed between Exits 48 and 46 in the Town from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting on Sunday, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.

Drivers will be detoured onto the North Service Road during the closures. The Northern State Parkway will also be available as an alternate route.

The closures between Round Swamp Road and Sunnyside Boulevard will last for around two weeks.
